of the easiest post workout meals to whip up is a shake. Getting the
balance between protein and carbs in that post-workout meal is where the
challenge often comes in. Challenge accepted - and won. ;-) This recipe might
just become your favorite snack! ;-)
Chocolate Covered
Strawberry Shake

serves 1
INGREDIENTS
1 cup coconut water (amazing for recovery!)
1 Tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
½ scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Chocolate)
1 cup plain greek yogurt
1 Tablespoon coconut butter (not oil)
1 Tablespoon honey
1 cup frozen strawberries, unsweetened
DIRECTIONS
Blend coconut water, cocoa powder and protein powder. Add remaining
ingredients
and blend until combined. Serve.
NUTRITION
per serving – 237 calories, 19 grams protein, 29 grams carbohydrates,
6 grams fat, 5 grams fiber
